The LUNA2000-107-1S11 is Huawei’s 107.5 kWh commercial/industrial Smart-String ESS designed for grid-forming hybrid applications. The system integrates LFP battery packs (2 × battery packs, 280 Ah per pack) with a high-power PCS (PCS2000-108K-MB1) to provide up to 108 kW charge/discharge capability and fast, reliable on-grid and off-grid performance. It uses hybrid cooling (air + liquid) for thermal stability, an active balance and automatic SOC calibration scheme, and multiple safety measures including pack-level oxygen barrier, directional gas exhaust, top explosion vent and aerosol suppression. The unit is built for heavy duty environments (IP55, -30 °C to +55 °C operation, up to 4,000 m altitude) and integrates via Ethernet/optical fiber using Modbus TCP for SCADA/EMS connections. Dimensions and form factor (1150 × 1800 × 2100 mm; ≤2.0 t) make it a ground-mounted rack suitable for C&I rooftops or plant rooms.
