The Huawei LUNA2000-7-S1 is a modular smart string energy storage system designed for residential and light-commercial PV + battery installations. Each kit combines a power module (LUNA2000-10KW-C1) with a 6.9 kWh battery module (LUNA2000-7-E1) to provide a usable energy of 6.9 kWh in a single-module configuration, and can be stacked up to three modules per tower (20.7 kWh usable) and up to four towers paralleled for very large systems. The system uses safe and long-lived LiFePO₄ cells, supports 100% depth of discharge, and includes module-level energy optimizers for higher usable energy and longer cycle life. Built for outdoor or indoor installation (IP66), the LUNA2000-7-S1 operates in a wide temperature window (-20 °C to +55 °C), features cable-free module-to-module connections for fast commissioning, low noise (<29 dB), and multiple safety layers (cell, electrical, structural, active & emergency protections). It communicates with Huawei inverters (several SUN2000 / SUN5000 families) via RS485/FE/CAN and is intended to provide fast charging/discharging (max. group power up to 10.5 kW for 3-module setups) and seamless energy management when paired with Huawei inverters and FusionSolar monitoring.
